Paul Morrissey

Principal

Paul Morrissey, an internationally renowned osteopath with specialist sports medicine experience, has been practising for more than 20 years. He began his career as the company osteopath at The London Contemporary Dance Theatre in 1992 and has since treated numerous professional athletes ranging from professional footballers, tennis players and dancers to members of the Ryder Cup team. 

For the past decade Paul has been honing his skills in the field of Shockwave Therapy and is one of a small number of UK specialists trained by ATRAD - the international Association for Radial Pain Therapy – to deliver this treatment. Pioneering the delivery of this treatment in the UK, Paul undertook research across Europe with various manufacturers and governing bodies well before training was widely available in the UK.

Previously a Trainer for the Swiss DolorClast Academy which is cultivates academic excellence by educating the experts of tomorrow while nurturing innovation and medical research, Paul co-presented a bi-annual conference for SDCA sharing knowledge about ESWT in the interest of improving patient care. He is now a European DolorClast Ambassador for EMS and has been a member of the International Society for Medical Shockwave Treatment since 2009.

Paul's experience and expertise has lead him to be instrumental in delivering Shockwave Therapy training in hospitals, orthopedic clinics and multidisciplinary clinics across the UK.

Paul is committed to an evidence-based approach and forever researching the latest technologies to help his patients. The osteopath, who is registered with the British Osteopathic Association and the General Osteopathic Council, owns two clinics in the south east of England.
